ASOIAF Fic Week
Welcome to ASOIAF Fic Week, a writing event running from August 23rd to the 29th on AO3, Twitter, and Tumblr.
Prompts
The prompts for this year's event can be found below. They can be followed as literally or as loosely as you want (e.g. "Declaw" can be about Joffrey declawing a cat, or Arya losing her sword, just as for Jaime losing his hand). Combine them, mix and match, choose one or more... think creatively and you're good to go!The Alternate Prompts can be used at any time to replace the original day's prompts, but feel free to mix and match them.

Guidelines
I. No AI allowed. This rule will not be enforced, and we presume on the writer's good conscience. Fearmongering and AI accusations will not be tolerated.II. SFW, NSFW, and Dead Dove content are allowed, and should be tagged according to AO3's ratings and tag system.III. Post, Pre, and Current Canon are allowed. Main Series, HOTD< AKOTSK, etc. Alternate Universes, Modern AUs, Crossovers, Fusions, OCs, x Reader... anything you can imagine goes.IV. Poetry, long-fics, short stories, drabbles... word count is not an issue. Want to add an ongoing fic you wrote a chapter for to the collection, or maybe add a one-shot part of a longer series? No problem at all.V. Any characters make do. Major, minor, original, reader insert, crossover from other fandoms in the ASOIAF universe... your mind is the limit.VI. No harassment towards any participants will be tolerated. You're responsible for curating your experience.
Platforms
For posting on Twitter and Tumblr, don't forget to include the #ficweekasoiaf26 hashtag on your posts.For posting on the AO3 collection, click on "Post" and select "New Work", then head to the "Associations" section and find the "Post to Collections / Challenges" line. There, you'll add the Collection's name, "FicWeekASOIAF". You can also click "Post to Collection" on the Collection's dashboard.
